Danger and First Aid

Rescue services

We have a well organised mountain rescue service. If you should find an injured person on the ski slopes please assist them. Secure the area by putting skies in a cross formation above the injured person then inform the rescue service (every lift station has a direct connection to the mountain rescue office). No charge will be made within the marked ski area for a rescue. Charges for transport from the bottom of the lift area to the doctor or hospital via ambulance or helicopter must be expected (we recommend that you have adequate insurance). First aid rooms can be found at the cable car stations.

Mountain rescue

A mountain rescue costs 120 Euros for rescue within the ski area.
Helicopter and ambulance must be paid separately.

Danger on the mountain

On leaving the cable car you enter the natural world of the mountain. With all its beauty it also contains certain elements of danger, avalanches, blizzards, sudden fog and also very strong sun light. On leaving the marked and open piste you are responsible for your own safety. Please look for the warning signs which flash on the panorama ski board.
