Children's slopes in the Alpbachtal

Wiedersberger Horn

For the first real turns, head high up to the slopes on the Wiedersberger Horn. The best route from the top station of the Wiedersbergerhornbahn is the ski route to the Kohlgrubenlift (W7), which takes children back up with its own children's track. From there, the blue run to the Muldenlift (W10) is a good choice. If that gets too "boring", it's on to the Hornbodenlift (W8).
Advanced skiers can opt for the blue or even the red run to the Gmahbahn (W4) or to the middle station of the Wiedersbergerhornbahn. Very popular here is the adventurous "Kids Run" along piste 46b with figures, waves and steep turns.

The Acherfeldlift (W15) is located at the valley station of the Pöglbahn or the Verbindungsbahn Alpbachtal-Wildschönau and is very suitable for all children who want to learn to ski properly with a 100m long slope.

The Böglerlift (D1) is located in the village centre of Alpbach between the Congress Centrum and the Hotel Böglerhof****S. Due to its good inclination, the slope is not only suitable for beginners, but is also perfect for returning skiers.

Reith im Alpbachtal

In Reith im Alpbachtal beginners will find the perfect conditions for their first skiing attempts up to the first real turns. The JUPPI DO conveyor belt (R5) and the Brandachlift (R4) offer short and flat runs down into the valley. In addition, the "JUPPI DO" children's area offers the perfect conditions for the first steps on skis.
For the next level of difficulty, you can take the Reitherkogel lift to the summit and from there take the blue run to the Hochlift (R3) and make your first turns there.

Children's slopes in the Wildschönau

For families and children, the Schatzberg Zwergenland at the Schatzbergbahn middle station offers even more fun in the snow from this winter!
Directly at the Schatzbergbahn middle station is the children's and beginners' area with the Koglmooslift (S8), another ski conveyor (S8) and large, wide slopes with plenty of space.

Right next to the valley station of the Markbachjochbahn are wide beginner slopes with short lifts, which are the focus of smaller children.
The "Märchenwiesenabfahrt" offers exciting runs for the more experienced and can be easily reached with the Tennladenlift (M11).

In the village centre of Oberau, the ski conveyor Oberau (O2) and the Schießhüttllift (O3) offer easy beginner's lifts, flat slopes and numerous opportunities to play in the snow.
The Roggenboden in Oberau offers ski lifts and slopes that are also ideally suited for children. In addition, you can go night skiing and night tobogganing in the evening under floodlights.
